Although the recent warm weather had been nice, ski areas across New Hampshire are more excited for the cool-off in the coming weeks. Since it is already mid-November, snow machines have been put to work in places like Cannon Mountain. During the off-season, ski areas mainly focus on maintenance work. Once the temperatures drop to the low 30s, ski areas start to make as much snow as they can. 

McIntyre Ski Area has announced that they are planning on opening up at the start of December, although the date might vary according to weather conditions. Coming for skiing, snowboarding, and hitting the tubing hill, thousands of visitors are expected to visit McIntyre Ski Area this year.
