NH State Parks to Host Job Fairs Around the State on May 6

New Hampshire State Parks will hold job fairs around the state on May 6 for those looking for “stress-free, summer employment in the outdoors.”

Almost every park in the state will be open for prospective employees to explore, meet team members, and find out more about available positions for the upcoming summer season.  

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., job fairs will take place at the following parks:

  • Crawford Notch State Park, Hart’s Location
  • Coleman State Park main lodge, Stewartstown
  • Deer Mountain campground office, Pittsburg
  • Echo Lake State Park – North Conway tollbooth, North Conway
  • Ellacoya State Park campground office, Gilford
  • Franconia Notch State Park headquarters, Franconia 
  • Franklin Pierce Homestead, Hillsborough
  • Greenfield State Park campground office, Greenfield
  • Hampton meters park patrol office, Hampton
  • Hampton State Park South Beach park store, Hampton
  • Jericho State Park Visitor Center, Berlin
  • Kingston State Park store, Kingston
  • Lafayette campground office, Franconia
  • Lake Francis State Park campground office, Pittsburg
  • Milan Hill State Park campground office, Milan
  • Miller State Park tollbooth, Peterborough
  • Monadnock State Park store, Jaffrey

Through its job fairs across the state, New Hampshire State Parks “hopes to make future park employment easy and accessible for its neighbors,” the agency said in a press release. “Beyond benefits and flexible schedules, NH State Parks offers employment in beautiful outdoor spaces as well as being stewards and ambassadors of the land and their communities.”

Seasonal employees receive a family day use pass; a camping pass for two free nights; holiday pay; 20 percent off in retail stores; training in customer service, equipment, driving, safety, CPR, and management; and dental benefits for those working 30 hours or more a week.
