Tennessee Titans (7-3) at Green Bay Packers (4-7), Thursday, 8:15 p.m.:
Four days after rallying to overcome the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers (4-7) failed to recapture the magic in a lifeless 27-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
Green Bay’s sixth loss in seven games effectively destroys any realistic hope of Matt LaFleur’s squad making the playoffs in 2022.
New York Jets (6-3) at New England Patriots (5-4), 1pm:
On Oct. 30, the Patriots defeated the Jets 22-17, with Devin McCourty accounting for two of the Patriots’ three interceptions of Zach Wilson. The Jets’ four-game winning run was stopped by Nick Folk’s five field goals. The Jets were defeating the Bills and the Patriots were crushing the Colts when we last saw them before their bye weeks.
Behind stagnating second-year quarterback Mac Jones and first-year playcaller Matt Patricia, the Patriots offense is flailing. However, the Patriots didn’t require much from their offense to defeat the Jets last season. This will be another defensive duel, as Belichick attempts to limit the Jets’ run game so Wilson can defeat him.
